2017-18 ECYH FINANCIAL OPTIONS

 

Financial Options for 2017-18 Season

  1. REGISTRATION FEES: Registration fees are $100 this year plus a small fee charged by our on line provider for Bantams, Peewees and travel Squirts.   This registration fee includes conditioning sessions and tryouts.  Total fees for the season are described below.  Beginner Mites and Mites have a $100 registration that will be applied to the total fees due.  Mini-mites do not pay a registration fee.  Players  at all levels need to pay the USA Hockey and WAHA fees separately. Click on the registration tab and you will be guided through the process.
  2. Please note, there will be a 'One Time' Registration fee that is assessed at the time of check out.  No further fees will be applied through the payment plan.  

 

  1. TRAVEL PLAYER FEES: There is no fee increase again for the 9th straight year due to our fundraising efforts (mainly the golf outing).
    • Travel Squirts fee is $400 per year
    • Pee Wee fee is $500 per year
    • Bantam fee is $600 per year
    • Fundraising fee is $350 for your first skater, $100 per additional player within your family. Checks will be collected when you pickup your game jerseys. Checks will be deposited on December 1st.

 

  1. *NEW IN 2017*  PAYMENT: All payments are collected online with either a debit or credit card.  The card used at the time of registration will be charged at dates outlined below.
  2. RECREATION PLAYERS
    • Mini Mites: Generally ages 4-6,is FREE once again this year. You do need fill out  the online registration. You can either buying or renting equipment from ECYH.
    • Mites: Generally ages 6-8 with a total fee of $260.  $100 paid through on line registration plus a small fee charged by our on line provider. The balance of $160 will be charged to your debit card or credit card in two installments. The first $80 installment on January 1st and the second $80 installment on February 1st. A $50 jersey deposit in the form  of a check dated March 1st is also required.  Please have this check with you when you pick up your game jersey.  It will not get cashed if jerseys are returned in good condition.
    • Beginner Mites: Generally ages 5-7 with a total fee of $190.  $100 is paid through on line registration plus a small fee charged by our on line provider. The balance of $90 will be charged to your debit card or credit card in two installments.  The first $45 installment is on January 1st and the second $45 installment is on February 1st.  A $50 jersey deposit in the form  of a check dated March 1st is also required.  Please have this check with you when you pick up your game jersey.  It will not get cashed if jerseys are returned in good condition.

 

  • TRAVEL PLAYERS:
    • Squirt:  Generally 9-10 year olds, with a total fee of $400 and required fundraising of $350  for the first player ($100 for additional players in the same family).  These fees  are collected  using the online system on the following dates:
      1. $200 Player Fees on January 1st and February 1st.
      2. Fundraising fee is $350 for your first skater, $100 per additional player within your family. Checks will be collected when you pickup your game jerseys. Checks will be deposited on December 1st. (When you sell the items, you keep the money, this should not cost you anything if you sell the items. Checks should be made out to you, not ECYH.
      3. A $100 jersey deposit in the form  of a check dated March 1st is also required.  Please have this check with you when you pick up your game jersey.  It will not get cashed if jerseys are returned in good condition.
      • *NOTE*  Players on the Squirt C2 will play at a discounted rate of $400 and are exempt from fundraising requirements.
    • PeeWee:  Generally 11-12 year olds, with a total fee of $500 and required fundraising of $350  for the first player ($100 for additional players in the same family).  These fees  are collected  using the online system on the following dates:
      1. $250 Player Fees on January 1st and February 1st
      2. Fundraising fee is $350 for your first skater, $100 per additional player within your family. Checks will be collected when you pickup your game jerseys. Checks will be deposited on December 1st (When you sell the items, you keep the money, this should not cost you anything if you sell the items. Checks should be made out to you, not ECYH.
      3. A $100 jersey deposit in the form  of a check dated March 1st is also required.  Please have this check with you when you pick up your game jersey.  It will not get cashed if jerseys are returned in good condition.
    • Bantam:  Generally 13-4 year olds, with a total fee of $600 and required fundraising of $350  for the first player ($100 for additional players in the same family).  These fees  are collected  using the online system on the following dates:
      1. $300 Player Fees on January 1st and February 1st.
      2. Fundraising fee is $350 for your first skater, $100 per additional player within your family. Checks will be collected when you pickup your game jerseys. Checks will be deposited on December 1st (When you sell the items, you keep the money, this should not cost you anything if you sell the items. Checks should made out to you, not ECYH.
      3. A $100 jersey deposit in the form  of a check dated March 1st is also required.  Please have this check with you when you pick up your game jersey.  It will not get cashed if jerseys are returned in good condition.

 

  • SCHOLARSHIP – There are limited scholarship funds available. Applications are on the ECYH website on the “Documents” tab. Please turn in the application to a member of the Executive Committee (Joe Koller, David Donnelan, Chris Bell or Andrew McCabe by email, hand delivery, or  US Mail to ECYH, PO Box 1592) by October 1st.

 

  • FUNDRAISING OPTIONS:  All travel families are required to fundraise $350 for the first player and $100 for each additional player in the family.  Families have two options:
      • 15 raffle tickets to be sold at $10 each and 10 coupon books from MyLocal.com to be sold at $20 per book (subject to confirmation)
      • 35 raffle tickets to be sold at $10 each
      • Families with additional players can choose an additional 10 raffle tickets or 5 coupon books to fill the additional $100 obligation.
